Dana Robbins and her assistant, Jennifer Jordan, are by far the best real estate team we have encountered. Due to a health crisis, my husband and I were suddenly tasked with selling my father’s home in Virginia. Though we live in Massachusetts, Dana was willing to work with us. The home needed many maintenance repairs, was quite outdated, and the yard was overgrown. Dana was enthusiastic and optimistic from the start. She did her research, and backed up all of her recommendations with data. Then, the pandemic hit. In the face of such challenges, we were still able to rely on Dana and her contacts completely. As with all things, Dana’s communication was excellent and her “can do” attitude never failed. We disagreed on how to proceed in some instances, but Dana carefully shared her views, letting us know the decision was ours (in hindsight, Dana was right!). When the house was ready for sale in our eyes, it was already sold; going on the market, it was bought in less than one day. Dana had engaged with interested parties, and the sale yielded more than we expected. Throughout the process, Dana’s expertise, hard work, enthusiasm, and generous spirit were unmatched. Jennifer handled all of the document work patiently and perfectly. Finally, because of the pandemic, we were unaware that some items still needed to be removed from the house after the sale, including a box of old photos, letters, etc. Dana managed the removal, saving the personal box. Jennifer packaged up my dad’s treasures, and sent them off to his assisted living residence. For a team to see each person as an individual deserving of care is extraordinary! When I first realized that Dana was the realtor for the sellers of the house that I really wanted to buy, I was a little concerned. I knew that she COULD handle both sides of the sale but I wasn’t sure how it would work. But, two things convinced me to put in an offer anyway - first, I really loved the house and second, Dana had just shepherded me through selling my previous house, which had been challenging on occasion, so I trusted her.
Once I said that I wanted to put in an offer, Dana was very clear and up front about what she could and could not do in representing both of us. My only real worry was about the negotiations over home inspection repairs because I’ve only ever bought one house before and frankly, I didn’t do a good job the last time! Fortunately, the home inspection went very well and there was only one real repair that needed to be made. But, even though she couldn’t help me decide which repairs to ask for - she still was able to get me the repairs that I wanted. Also, I knew that she would be on top of making sure that all the repairs got done - since she had done such a great job making sure the work on MY old house got done.
Aside from my concerns over making good decisions about the home inspection, it really was so convenient to only have one realtor involved. Communication was so smooth and things just moved along so well. Although some of my family members were skeptical of the situation, I felt very secure about it.
After all, it’s just as important to trust the realtor you are buying from as the one you are selling with! There were several houses that I didn’t even bother looking at, once I saw the seller’s realtor. I will never buy another house from the realtor who sold me my last one! On the other hand, I would 100% buy another house with Dana!

Choosing Dana as our realtor was the best decision we made while selling our home. I texted Dana on a Friday that we were accepting a job offer in Ohio and would like to get our home listed ASAP. On Tuesday, our home was ready to go live.
